Join PEBA for a seminar discussing the latest guidance for barristers in relation to dealing with expert witnesses at, and in the lead up to, public inquiries.
The seminar should prove to be an invaluable guide for barristers at all levels of call. It will discuss newly completed ‘Good Practice Guidance’ produced by a PEBA working group with representatives from the Bar, the RTPI and the planning inspectorate.
The hour long seminar will include a discussion on the preparation of expert evidence; witness familiarisation; the conduct of evidence in chief; the conduct of cross-examination; the conduct of re-examination; virtual and blended inquiries;
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

The seminar will be a hybrid event and will be chaired by Tom Cosgrove KC (PEBA Vice-Chair). There are limited in person spaces available which will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
