The highly successful annual PEBA Dinner is now open for booking. It will be held on Thursday 22nd June 2023. As in previous years, it will be held at the Old Dining Hall, Lincoln’s Inn (from 6.30pm). We will also be holding a free pre-dinner seminar for those attending with senior Planning Inspectors which will take place at Francis Taylor Building at 5.30pm. The dress code for both will be business attire (not black tie).
PEBA will be hosting a number of distinguished guests from the Planning Court and Inspectorate at the dinner. The seating plan is designed to enable a mix of seniority and Chambers alongside the special guests. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet and re-connect with other members of the profession and the judiciary and Inspectorate. As the Honourable Justice Abbott Parry wrote in his book ‘The Seven Lamps of Advocacy’, in being guided by the lamp of Fellowship, advocates must “Strive mightily, but eat and drink as friends”.
Tickets are priced at £85 for all members of 7 years call or more; £45 for members under 7 years call and £35 for members under 2 years call (including pupil members).
