Social Media and the Planning Bar: pitfalls and opportunities – An Audience with the Chair of the Bar

11 Jul 2024
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Remote

A crucially important seminar for all practitioners balancing the need to talk publicly about their cases and thoughts whilst navigating the responsibilities of the Independent Barrister.

This is an area of acute concern in all areas of practice, but has a particular resonance for the planning barrister where we often operate on the front line of politics and policy.

Should we join the barricades or remain silent? How does modern practice interface with all forms of media?

The seminar will range across the full range of traditional and new media and will be both informative and entertaining.

Chaired by:

Charlie Banner KC of Keating Chambers

Speakers will be:

Sam Townend KC, Chair of the Bar

Mary Cook, Partner at Town Legal
