PEBA wishes to congratulate Richard Kimblin KC on his appointment to the High Court. Richard will take up appointment on 12 November 2025 and be known as The Honourable Mr Justice Kimblin. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1998 and took Silk in 2016.
He was appointed as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2024. Mr Justice Kimblin will be assigned to the King’s Bench Division where he will bring over 27 years of experience as a barrister, and experience as a Deputy High Court Judge, to the role. He has also been a much-valued member of the PEBA committee in recent years leading on many important issues.
